Xi’an Jiaotong University’s School of Management is looking for a UK partner to jointly establish an undergraduate articulation programme in finance and accounting. Initially, up to four students will be sent to the UK per year in the second or third year of their course.

About the School of Management, Xi’an Jiaotong University

Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), located in China’s Shaanxi province, is a top Chinese university with strengths in engineering, technology, and public health. Comprised of twenty schools, it is a comprehensive research university offering programs in nine areas: science, engineering, medicine, economics, management, art, law, philosophy, and education.

XJTU School of Management was founded in1928 and is one of China's first management schools. It is also one of China’s first schools to offer professional degree programmes, including MBAs, EMBAs and MPAccs. As one of China’s leading management schools, it is committed to providing a high-quality teaching experience and supporting research. Its aim is to foster innovative students with the capacity to become global leaders.

In 2011, the School of Management was accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. In 2012, its Business Administration degree as ranked No 1 and its Management Science and Engineering degree as ranked No 2 in the national China Discipline Ranking, compiled by the China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center.

Timeline

Xi'an Jiaotong University’s School of Management would like to start negotiations in February, with a view to sending the first group of students to the UK in September 2016.
