Approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the People's Republic of China, Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) will hold China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET 2013) in seven cities including Beijing, Shenyang, Xi'an, Shanghai, Guangzhou etc. from 9th March to 24th March 2013. In order to maximise the benefits for institutions’ visits to China in the spring, British Council China will organise a series of wrap-around activities in Beijing, Shenyang, Xi’an, Shanghai and Guangzhou to highlight UK education’s strengths and create more opportunities for UK institutions to interact with target groups.

Formats:

  • QR code: BC will create a webpage on Education UK with CIEET 2013 information and logos of participating UK institutions. BC will also create QR codes of Education UK websites for participating UK institutions. These codes will be printed on the front of the booth of participating UK institutions.
  • QR code game: In the UK pavilion, visitors can visit booths of participating UK institutions and collect their QR codes. Gifts will be provided by participating UK institutions to visitors.
  • Onsite publication: BC will give a page in BC’s exhibitors guide manual for each participating UK institution with promotional information.  QR code will also be printed in the manual.  This will be handed out to visitors when they visit BC booths as guidance for UK institutions.
  • Themed lectures: BC will arrange themed lectures of popular subjects Engineering, Finance, Arts & Design in local school or university.
