The British Council Spain is delighted to provide a general overview of the opportunities for TNE partnerships in Spain. The session will cover insights from universities and colleges as well as local authorities. From an international campus to cater for the technological hub in the Málaga Coast to franchising, the session will give participants an overall highlight of the conditions for TNE in Spain. Finally, the team will present concrete opportunities created to foster partnerships with Spanish Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
Very specifically, this session will summarise the outcomes of the recent presentation of the report: "British Vocational Qualifications as a Tool for Internationalizing Higher Vocational Education and Training in Spain'. Presented in June 2023 to Spanish regional governments, heads of colleges, and investors, the report has proved to have already fostered centres introducing UK-Spain level 5 qualifications. This interest will lead, very soon, to the same centres (and students) willing to establish a Transnational Education (TNE) partnership with a British university as many of these students aim to get a degree.
