Creative Spark Big Idea Challenge
The British Council’s largest video pitch competition that supports young people develop their entrepreneurial business ideas by producing a 60 second video pitch. Participants of the programme came up with almost 500 new business ideas and over 80 had a focus on Covid-19 recovery. The global pandemic has affected everyone, new ideas are much needed for economic and social recovery.
The Creative Spark: Higher Education Partnership Programme runs in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and the UK to drive enterprise and entrepreneurship skills using UK experience. The Big Idea Challenge is part of the Creative Spark programme and is the British Council`s largest video pitch competition, designed to help young people to develop their own business ideas. Participants of the programme have come up with almost 500 new business ideas and over 80 of these focus on Covid-19 recovery.

Simply, scroll down the page, watch the video and click vote! There are lots of great new ideas across three categories: ‘Digital Technology’, ‘Social Impact’, ‘Creative Ideas’. This year we also created a ‘Pandemic Response Innovation Award’ (you can watch the 10 sec promo film here).
