Vietnam: Opportunity for profile raising in “UK in my eyes” digital programme

British Council Vietnam invites UK institutions to advertise in ‘UK in my eyes’ - one of high impact digital PR programmes in Vietnam. This is a good opportunity for UK institutions to raise their profiles in Vietnam by using their Vietnamese students and alumni as ambassadors to promote institutional profiles to prospective students.

UK in my eyes is a programme which has been developed and implemented successfully by British Council Vietnam for over the last four years to help UK institutions promote their profiles through advertising and showcasing best stories from their alumni. The programme includes a website at http://ukinmyeyes.vn which attracts an average of 3,500 visits per month; a Facebook fan page at http://www.facebook.com/NuocAnhTrongMatToi which has more than 68,000 fans by April 2015

In 2015/16, the programme will provide opportunities for UK institutions:

• to place a web banner on the website which aims to attract approximately 3.500 – 4.000 visits/month. The web banner will link directly to a landing page that helps UK institutions to promote their profiles or marketing events in Vietnam;
• to have a landing page on the website, featuring institutional strengths, success stories from their alumni and institutional marketing events that are relevant with Vietnamese prospective students;
• to promote institutional alumni testimonials that are relevant with Vietnamese prospective students on the Facebook fan page of the programme;
• to participate in 01 facebook chat about studying and living in the UK with UK alumni ambassadors answering prospective students’ questions.

Participation fee:
A 12-months advertising package: GBP 2,000
A one-off facebook chat: GBP 200
