UK universities can express their interest to partner with the British Council in Kuwait to deliver a face-to-face policy dialogue seminar on the topic of Quality Assurance.

About the event

Scheduled for the first week of December, the event will involve a two-day visit to Kuwait.

The first day will be a policy dialogue seminar (preparation, seminar delivery and networking). The second day will be for further meetings and discussions with individual universities in Kuwait.

The event will provide a platform for thought leaders, policymakers and academic professionals from Kuwait’s higher education sector, to engage in meaningful discussions and share insights on Quality Assurance.

By partnering with us, your institution will have the opportunity to showcase its expertise and foster international collaborations.

Expectations

The selected institution will be expected to design and deliver sessions on how Quality Assurance is implemented throughout their institution, including how processes filter down and how they are monitored.

They will also be expected to take part in roundtable discussions.

The output will be a summary report (up to 1,500 words) covering the detail of discussions and recommendations for follow up.

Details

We are particularly interested in universities with a strong track record in Quality Assurance teaching and a commitment to global engagement.

The British Council will cover the cost of two economy flights for the speakers from the university and up to three night’s hotel accommodation
