UK-Korea Higher Education Partnership

Objective

British Council in Korea aims to facilitate collaboration between higher education institutions in Korea and in the UK focusing on, but not limited to;

• Research collaboration (short-term and long-term researcher mobility, joint calls, etc.)
• Student and/or faculty mobility
• Joint teaching and learning
• Programme partnership or TNE partnership

Participants

We are currently in the process of finalizing Korean universities to take part (7 in total), and would like to invite UK universities that;

• have strength and international interest in at least one of the following research areas: aging/healthcare, future mobility, smart city, development studies
• are available and able to host and meet one or two potential Korean partners for partnership discussion during 2–3 December in the UK
• have major interest in and resources for international (research) collaboration but don’t have enough experience of working with Korean partners

Timeline

Application Deadline: 9 October

Partnership Discussions: October–November

UK-bound Partnership Visit: 2–6 December
