British Council Thailand is organising its first ever trip for school counsellors to visit universities and higher education institutions in the UK, in order that Thai counsellors can gain first-hand experience, seeing actual campuses, student life and the attractions that UK institutions and cities can offer.

About the trip and school counsellors
A group of 5- 7 school counsellors will be selected for the trip. Profiles of counsellors and their schools will be sent to the selected UK institutions prior to the trip. Counsellors will be well briefed on the UK education system and be given basic information on schools or colleges they are visiting. Most of participants will be selected from those taking part in the British Council Counsellor ‘s Training Programme, from a mix of international schools and Thai schools including:
Bromsgrove International School Thailand
Ruamrudee International School
Srinakharinwirot University: Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Elementary) / Prasarnmit Primary International Program (PPiP)
More schools will be added.
How to apply
Interested institutions may complete the application form at https://britishcouncil-vksfv.formstack.com/forms/application_form_couns…. Places will be filled on a first-come first-served basis, as will preferences regarding UK institutions to be visited. The participating fee is £1,100 plus VAT. This will include accommodation in the UK, domestic travel costs, and a British Council management fee for co-coordinating and managing the programme.
