Thai Media Trip — November 2017
Take the opportunity to promote your institution on one of the most famous TV channels in Thailand.

British Council Thailand is arranging a media trip to the UK between 27 November and 1 December 2017 with crews from Thairath TV — one of the top ten most popular TV channels in Thailand.

Apart from being one of the most popular TV channels in Thailand, Thairath TV is under the same ownership as the Thairath newspaper — the oldest and most prominent daily newspaper in Thailand. With its strong reporting foundation, the highly acclaimed Thairath TV news is a quality programme and in terms of digital reach, Thairath TV has a Facebook page with more than 3 million followers — one of the highest amongst TV channels in Thailand and Youtube channel with 1.6 million followers.

Programme theme
The theme of the programme is “Learning in Action” and will present how courses in the UK are delivered — demonstrating activities which help enhance efficiency in learning, including those in a classroom setting. The programme is open to all sectors, including higher education, further education, schools, and English language institutions. Furthermore, the programme is designed to provide an insight into student life in the UK as well as city or town environments. A maximum of half a day in each institution will be spent on filming the programme.

Participation in this Thai Media Trip
The management fee for this media trip is £1,250 excluding applicable VAT. UK institutions interested in taking part should fill out the attached form and return it to uraiwan.samolee@britishcouncil.or.th
Applications will be selected on a first come, first served basis and geographical proximity to each other.
The management fee includes flights for 2 media crews and 1 British Council staff helping to coordinate the trip, their accommodation, UK visa fees, meals, domestic travel in the UK (i.e. train tickets), arranging the film content, and producing the TV scoop.

Deadline for applications is 1 November 2017.
