According to the 2016 English UK report, China is now the largest source market for English language study in the Asia Pacific region and the UK’s fifth largest source market globally. In order to support UK institutions in accessing this market, the British Council, in partnership with English UK, has designed two promotional events to support the recruitment of summer programme students and groups. The events will target Beijing and Shanghai, two key English language study markets in China.
