Study UK: research among newly-enrolled international students at UK HEIs
Tuesday 13 June 2023, 2-3 p.m.
This webinar will share findings from Study UK’s research among newly-enrolled international students (from all countries worldwide, including EU countries).
The research took place between November 2022 and April 2023, and was commissioned to Red Brick Research. The research covers the decision-making process and motivations of international study, student experience in the UK and future plans, and the impact of the Study UK campaign.
Key findings to be explored include the following:
- The main motivations for studying abroad include wanting to increase future career opportunities, experience a high quality of education and gain more life experience.
- Students say quality of education and post-graduation opportunities are the main reasons they chose to study in the UK.
- More than seven-in-ten students report that UK higher education either meets or exceeds their expectations.
