The British Council in China is organising the UK pavilion at the tour, and will promote the event and increase exposure of the participating universities by using the following marketing channels:

• distributing print media to key national and local media outlets: by discussing relevant topics that are of interest to the Chinese public, these print media are an innovative way to promote UK education
• online promotion: the British Council has popular Education UK accounts on Chinese social media portals, such as on Sina Weibo (130,000 followers) and WeChat (more than 120,000 followers)
• offline promotion: the British Council will attend the Education Expo press conference on behalf of all UK exhibitors, and will introduce UK education updates and features of the UK pavilion to all key media contacts across the nation.

Non-Chinese participants are advised to come on business visas.  According to relevant regulations invitation letters are required to support business visa applications.

Participants requesting this service should supply the following information;

1) Full name as shown on the passport
2) Passport number
3) Nationality
4) Position held
5) Port of Departure
6) Expected dates of entry and exit
 

Material shipping to China can be a very complicated matter.  The Organizing Committee has appointed the following party as the *Official Carrier for the Exhibition:

*Important Note: The Official Carrier is the only authorized contact point for your material shipments in the whole CIEET event. The Organizer does not hold any responsibilities for your chosen shipping methods. ALL venues and organizer/co-organizer do not act as the recipients of the exhibitors' materials. In the case that the venue has to receive the arriving materials, they may charge the storage fee entirely at their discretion.
 

All subsequent cancellation requests must be made in writing. 
 

Cancellation fees will be charged for withdrawal from this event, as of the date of receipt of notice of withdrawal:

• At 50 per cent of the full exhibition cost for withdrawals received on or after 31 December 2019
• At 100 per cent of the full exhibition cost for withdrawals received on or after 9 February 2020
