The British Council in Korea will take part in the ‘Study in Europe Fair (SIEF) 2019’ in Seoul on 2—3 November 2019, 11.00—18.00. An open invitation will be extended to individual UK institutions to participate in the fair. You can find the details below.

Fair Information

The ‘Study in Europe Fair (SIEF) is featured in the larger annual fair called ‘Korea Study Abroad and Emigration Fair’ to attract more traffic. 26,266 students (high school, undergraduate, postgraduate), parents and officers attended the fair last fall, looking for trustworthy information and bespoke advice to plan their studies abroad.

The SIEF fair is designed to raise awareness of the quality of European HEIs to South Korean audiences and inspire them wishing to study abroad to choose Europe.

It will be a great opportunity for UK institutions not only promoting the HE study opportunities and scholarships directly to the prospective students and parents but also networking with officers from Korean HEIs to find out partnership opportunities.

Seminar

A 30-min seminar slot will be given per country on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please refer to the attached file for the timeslots.

Workshop with Alumni

A separate workshop on experiences of studying abroad to students will be organized. The organizer is looking for Korean alumni who have studied in Europe and can share their experiences in the workshop. UK institutions are more than welcome to recommend one or two of their alumni.

Registration

  • Registration Fee: EUR 1,200 per booth (3m x 2m)
