In collaboration with the Campus France Taiwan and DAAD German Academic Exchange Service, the British Council is delighted to announce this year’s European Education Fair Taiwan (EEFT) European Study Talk will be taking place between September 2022 and February 2023. This campaign aims to provide higher education institutions from the UK and EU countries to raise their profiles and recruit prospective students in Taiwan for the 2023-24 academic year and beyond.  

The campaign details are listed as follows:

EEFT European Study Talk 2022

Date: September 2022 - February 2023
Participation fee: EUR 350 per institution
How to apply: please submit a completed online application HERE by Friday 26 August 2022 at 17.00 Taipei time (10.00 BST)

1/ Introduction session – 1 speaking slot

Event format

  • Option 1 – seminar
  • Option 2 – webinar (platform TBC)

Key features

  • Duration: 40 minutes (for one session)
  • Sessions are scheduled between 19:00 -21:00 Taipei Time (BST+7/GMT+8) on weekdays 
  • Speakers could be either faculty members or legal representatives in Taiwan
  • Each institution/agency is allowed for only one session, due to limited space available 
  • Taiwanese students/alumni’ sharing is recommended
  • Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis

 

2/ Bespoke digital promotion – 1 advertising placement

Design requirements:

  • Texts of school introduction + Photo + School logo
  • Introduction: 1,000 words maximum in Mandarin (traditional Chinese), or 2000 in English
  • Image format: 1,024*485 pixel, JPG (optional) a short post (200 words max.) + photo (1,080*1080 pixel, JPG) on social media

Promotion channels:

  • One-month display in the “School Information” section on EEFT website
  • One post on EEFT social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram)

Video Ad

Design requirements:

  • Short text introduction + Video + School logo
  • Video format: avi, mov, mpeg4 (or other format accepted by YouTube)
  • Video length: 10 mins max.
  • A short media post (200 words max.) & one photo (optional)

Promotion channels:

  • Display in the “Video” section on EEFT website & on EEFT Youtube channel
  • One post on the EEFT social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram)



About European Education Fair Taiwan (EEFT) Committee

EEFT was established in 2002, and is one of the significant education fairs in Taiwan. The current Committee is a effort of the French Office in Taipei/ Campus France Taiwan, the DAAD German Academic Exchange Service Information Centre Taipei, and the British Council Taiwan. The Committee has a non-profit objective and is devoted to promoting opportunities to study in European countries by bringing representative offices in Taiwan and their affiliations together to organise annual EEFT in the autumn. Under the impact of pandemic, a series of virtual seminars alternatively serves to fulfil the goals of EEFT.

In addition, the Committee hosts diverse events and programs of European education in partnership with the public libraries and local universities.
