Opportunity
Insan Cendekia Madani (ICM) is interested in having school immersion at one of the secondary schools in London. In return, they are happy to host the corresponding UK school to visit their school in Indonesia. The 'immersion' aims for Indonesian students from ICM to experience (learning and studying) UK education system. Not only that, the students can also learn the culture, interact with the people, and make new friends. The school’s preference is to have 3 days school immersion in order for the students to be immersed in the experience. However, the period is negotiable with the UK school.
ICM is an Islamic Boarding School with Cambridge curriculum, and they are looking for Islamic secondary school or Moslem-friendly school. The school is located in Tangerang, Indonesia, and was established in 2010. It provides an Islamic education experience combined with Cambridge curriculum from Pre-K to Grade 12, with a goal to be the leading school which develops the students’ uniqueness and to create leaders who possess Islamic character and take part to manifest civil society. As a part of concrete plan in developing the international-mindedness of their students, ICM as a registered Cambridge School, offers its students a wide range of Cambridge Curriculum and its examinations.
For Secondary School Program, it will be using the Cambridge Checkpoint Curriculum that covers the subject of Math, Science and English. It is a 2-year program which starts at grade 7 and be tested at grade 8. Another 2-year program; IGCSE shall start at grade 9 and be tested at grade 10. The offered subjects for IGCSE are Math, Science (Physics, Biology and Chemistry) and also English.
While for High School Program, Sekolah Insan Cendekia Madani focuses on the Cambridge A-Level Program. The 2-year program is distributed in grade 11 for the AS-Level Program, and in grade 12 for the A-Level Program. In each registered Cambridge Curriculum of Sekolah Insan Cedekia Madani both for the Middle and High School Program, for the students that are interested in having the program, it will be equipped with its examinations preparations and practical exams.
