British Council Sri Lanka is looking for 3 academics in Education for an Education Management and Leadership conference to play the roles of speaker, panellist and facilitator.

British Council Sri Lanka as part of its wider work in Higher Education, raising the awareness of UK expertise in Education and promoting student mobility to the UK will host a 2 day Education Management and Leadership conference on 10 and 11 October, 2016 addressing some of the most salient developments in the areas of Education Leadership and Management at both the secondary and higher education level.

The conference will include invitees predominantly from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Higher Education, The University Grants Commission, and management level staff from both schools and universities including Vice Chancellors, Deans, Heads of Departments, Principals and Heads of Schools.

The objectives of the conference are to promote the UK as a source of expertise and indirectly promote the UK as a destination for higher studies for members of the public sector looking to obtain qualifications in Education.

The conference should achieve the following outputs:
1) Establish the UK as a premier source of expertise in Education
2) Audience should have a quick overview of the most recent developments and trends in Education Management and Leadership
