From October 2023 to March 2024, the British Council is delivering a series of online meetings with educational agents and school counsellors from Latin America, with particular focus on Brazilian and Mexican participants.
Higher education institutions and other organisations in the UK educational system are welcome to take part in the events, by delivering talks and Q&A sessions.
The objective of the 'Meet-ups with Educational Agents and School Counsellors' is to increase Latin American participants' knowledge about the UK education system and the options for international students. The events will also promote networking and shared understanding about business opportunities.
The meetings also aim to promote registrations in the platform 'UK Hub for Agents and Counsellors' which offers training resources and a certification provided by the British Council: http://agent-counsellor-ukhub.britishcouncil.org.
How can UK institutions take part?
The institutions interested in joining this opportunity are requested to deliver online presentations of approximately 20 minutes about different themes related to their targets in the international education sector and answer questions from the participants. There are no fees applicable for speakers' participation.
How to apply?
Please fill out the application form available at: https://forms.office.com/e/9TVa06QxKR
The form will be open until 15 March 2024 or for as long as we have availability for guest speakers. All applicants will be contacted for further details.
