The School of Foreign Languages of South China University of Technology wants to expand its international offering to Chinese students and is looking for a UK partner to deliver a 3+1 joint bachelor’s degree in Business English.

School of Foreign Languages:

South China University of Technology is located in Guangzhou, the third largest city in China, and is a Project 985 and 211 university.

Business English would be a new program offered by the school but would build on its traditional strengths in English teaching.

It currently enrolls 80 students onto its English degree programme each year. The school now wants to strengthen the program by combining their specialisation in English Literature and Linguistics with the expertise of overseas partners in the delivery of Business English.

They have already established a 2+2 joint program with the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison which leads to Degree in English from both universities.

They also have a student exchange agreement with the University of Queensland, under which their students can study English in Queensland for one year.

Requirements of UK partner:

UK university with academic strengths in Business subjects.
