Save the date: Turkey School Visits and UK Higher Education Days March 2013

British Council Turkey is pleased to announce the date for the School Visits and UK Higher Education Days that will be held in spring 2013.

Aiming at promoting UK undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, British Council Turkey will organize visits to a selection of schools and universities that offer internationally recognised curriculum i.e. IB for UK Universities. This exciting programme will compromise 2-day visits in Istanbul, 1-day visits in Ankara and 1-day visits in Izmir in March 2013.  The format of the visits will involve mini-fairs and short briefing & presentation sessions.

Visit dates:
Ankara: Monday 18 March 2013
Izmir: Wednesday 20 March 2013
Istanbul: Monday 25 March and Tuesday 26 March 2013

Turkey has seen an increase of approximately 97 per cent in the number of students studying in the UK since 2004-2005 (Higher Education Statistics Agency).  British Council Turkey has made an important contribution to this growth through its School Visits and UK Higher Education Days programme which has helped establish strong relationships between Turkish supplier Schools and UK Institutions.
