BC SIEM Pakistan is ready to accept registrations for Education UK Certificate for Agents – 2014 (popularly known as Online Training).
This training programme enables you to effectively promote UK education and provide high-quality information, resources and services to potential international students. The course also develops your skills in finding the information you need and how to regularly update your knowledge. In guiding the customer to establish the questions they need to answer and where to find those answers, you are helping them to become more independent and better prepared for their experience as an international student in the UK .
In conjunction with other information resources developed by the British Council, the course will serve as a continuous source of support and professional knowledge updating. As such, obtaining this British Council qualification will represent a valued and recognised professional achievement.
Benefits of this training
Studying the course is beneficial in several ways. The certificate is recognised by UK institutions, and it demonstrates to students and parents that you have gained knowledge in the above areas. Furthermore, it will enable you to access support more easily from the British Council globally and in your country.
- You appear on the Global Trained Agent List (GAL)
The Global Trained Agents List (GAL), on which details of all agents who have been successful in our BC agent training programmes over the last 2 years will be publicly available, subject to the agents' consent. This will help students, parents and institutions to find BC certified agents with whom to work. The list will be available through BCSIEM and other British Council channels.
- You qualify to register for British Council Advanced Agent Certificate (BCAAC)
The British Council Advanced Agent Certificate (BCAAC) award will give international education agents, consultants and counsellors who have already successfully completed the Education UK Certificate for Agents the opportunity to not only refresh their knowledge and renew their training, it focuses on their professionalization and ethical practice giving them the opportunity to gain credit through buying in to British Council events.
The Advanced Agent Training award will be taken by BC trained agents who want to renew their training and are coming to the end of their 2 year validity period (of Education UK Certificate for Agents). The BCAAC takes one year to complete, and the award is valid for 2 years.
In Pakistan , the BCAAC training will take place in later this year.
