The British Council Korea is delighted to invite 5 UK Higher Education institutions to participate in faculty promotion opportunities on the 25th of April in Seoul. This event will be held at one of Korea’s most prestigious university called, Ewha Woman’s University. This institution has longer than 100 years of history and carries excellent reputation in Korea as a leading women’s university. There are two ways to participate in this event. One, offline participation requires the presence of an international recruitment officer or possibly an academic who can introduce the curriculum and various course choices of the institution. The second option is to send promotional material and course information to our office, and the British Council Korea staff will promote the institution for you. For the second option, we will translate students’ questions and forward them to the relevant staff of the institution so that the query can be handled in the UK.
This is a great opportunity to engage with local university students who have interest in studying abroad and recruit them. Five UK university students currently studying at Ewha Woman’s University will also join to talk about benefits of studying in the UK. There will be long tables ready for each country and total of 26 countries will participate.

Background

The International Exchange Centre within Ewha Woman’s University holds ‘Study Abroad Fair’ every semester, twice a year to facilitate mobility of the students to explore wider world and experience vibrant cities. They also would like this event to be an opportunity for their students to ask questions about studying in a foreign country by exchanging information with international students from all around the world.
