International University (IU), Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM) is looking for UK partners for collaborations in the following areas:
- Exchange of students at undergraduate and graduate levels
- Joint research projects
- Joint projects to secure external grants (for mobility and research schemes)
- Joint student activities (entrepreneurship, innovation, sustainable development, etc.)
Fields of interests: business and management, sciences, technology and engineering.
IU, established in December 2003, is one of the eight member-universities of Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City. As an interdisciplinary university, it is the first public university in Viet Nam that uses English as the primary language in teaching and researching.
IU and its partner universities offer accredited undergraduate and graduate programmes, focusing on majors that meet the growing demand for professionals in economics, management, science, and technology. IU develops syllabi and curricula in collaboration with top universities in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Its model adheres to international standards.
IU’s mission is to be one of the top research-oriented universities in Viet Nam and Asia. IU works with well-qualified staff and international faculties to address the evolving needs of society and the country's development.
IU has been running 26 TNE programmes with partners in the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand; having exchange students with 60 bilateral partners approximately and within 02 mobility associations (received 570 inbound, sent 655 outbound approximately), organising 70 study tours/faculty-led programmes with 2,644 participants.

Following a visit by the British Council to the University in July 2024, IU expressed interest in collaborating with more UK universities. IU is particularly interested in applying calls for the Gender Equality Partnership (https://opportunities-insight.britishcouncil.org/news/opportunities/gen…), future calls, and other partnership opportunities as mentioned above.
