The Marketing Institute of the Singapore Business School (MISBS) seeks a UK partner to help develop a top-up degree in sales, marketing, business innovations and entrepreneurship, to be conducted at their Singapore campus for current diploma holders, as well as industry professionals.

As the national body representing sales and marketing professionals in Singapore, they have an extensive network and industry links to promote and implement the programme, with the aim to further enrich the educational and professional landscape. 

The top-up degree will give students who have completed their diploma an opportunity to further enhance their qualifications in their chosen field of study and significantly boost their employability in a competitive global marketplace. 

Potential forms of co-operation
1. Programme delivery: offering the university's marketing and business programmes/modules in Singapore as part of this partnership.
2. Faculty exchange and joint teacher training programmes: giving faculty members from both institutions the opportunity to teach and learn in diverse cultural and educational settings.
3. Research collaborations: joint research initiatives and collaborations, facilitating knowledge sharing and contributing to industry-specific research projects that benefit both sides.
4. Industry engagement: collaborative efforts such as selected guest lectures, international internships, industry-focused projects, and cross networking opportunities for students.

MISBS’s contribution
 - Programme implementation: MISBS would take responsibility for implementing the joint programmes and ensuring they align with local regulations and requirements. They would also handle logistical aspects such as marketing the programme, student applications and admissions.
 - Industry connections: MISBS can leverage its local industry connections to facilitate internships, industry projects, and guest lectures.
 - Resource allocation: MISBS would allocate resources for programme development and contextualisation, relevant faculty training, and student support.

Timeline
The entire timeline, from initial discussions to the rollout of the top-up degree, can span approximately 12 to 15 months, considering the various stages of development, approval, marketing and programme delivery. The aim is for students to sign up for the programmes in Q3 of 2025.
