As the UK is a key country partner for next year's Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, we are keen to ensure meaningful participation.

UK higher education institutions are, therefore, invited to participate in the event, as a prime opportunity to connect and network with Indian business and industry representatives.

About the event

The state of Gujarat has been organising the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit since 2003, to foster development in the industrial and social sectors through the promotion of investments and collaboration in Gujarat.

This year, the tenth edition of the event will celebrate 20 years of Vibrant Gujarat as the summit of success, from 10-12 January 2024, and will be inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The event is mainly attended by business heads and industrialists seeking business networking, knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships for inclusive growth and sustainable development.

UK universities will have opportunity to network and showcase their insitution at the British Council stand (see below for details).

Visit our Vibrant Gujrat Global Summit page to find out more.

This event will not entirely be about investment into Gujarat. Rather, the Government of Gujarat has invited the British Deputy High Commission (BDHC) Ahmedabad to be the partner country and to host a UK Pavilion to help promote UK trade, the UK as an investment destination, and a partner across different priority themes, including education. The BDHC will be promoting education, skills and English through the British Council.

We won’t have capacity to support any logistics to and from the venue or in terms of accommodation. But colleagues will be on hand to help you navigate through the event, make introductions and help you promote your university.
