The British Council and Universities UK International are jointly organising a Workshop on Student Mobility for representatives of UK and Japanese universities on Friday 16 November 2018 in London.

The workshop will focus on student mobility from the UK to Japan and will consist of presentations and one-on-one discussions/networking. It represents an excellent opportunity to build your knowledge in this area and establish or strengthen your institution’s links and partnerships with Japanese counterparts.

Date and Time: 13:00 - 16:00, Friday 16 November 2018

We are also seeking 1 or 2 UK university representative(s) who can present good practice case study during the workshop, on developing partnerships and/or delivering programmes for students to study in Japan. (Please see Action Required below.)

The workshop is followed up by Experience Japan Exhibition 2018, a “study-in-Japan” fair, which will take place the next day (Saturday 17 November) at the Royal Society, London.

This workshop is open, free of charge, to representatives of UK universities (academic or professional staff) who are involved in or interested in partnership development/management for outward student mobility to Japan.

2) Call for Presenters
We are looking for 1 or 2 UK university representative(s) who can present good practice case study during the workshop, on developing partnerships and/or delivering programmes for students to study in Japan. (Up to 15 minutes per presenter followed by Q&A.) This will be a great opportunity to position your institution as a leader in this field and possibly to develop a wider network with Japanese universities. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated.
