Tackling Employability of International Students?
Employability remains a major concern for international students from Pakistan. UK institutes, a harbour to the biggest chunk of Pakistani international students face the most challenging dilemma of providing employment opportunities to them under the current visa policies.
BCSIEM Pakistan after two successful years is putting together another Pakistani Employers’ Fair in efforts to re-connect the Pakistani employers and International offices at UK universities; providing opportunities for them to establish long lasting relationships with the Pakistani job sector.
The project aims at bridging the gap between PK employers and international offices and Career Offices at UK universities. The intention is to provide UK universities an opportunity to build long-term relationships with businesses and the community in Pakistan.
The Employers’ Fair will serve as an interface for UK institutes to connect with Pakistani employers and the corporate community. It will serve as an opportunity for them to liaise, establish and sustain long term relationships with businesses in Pakistan to help create promising career prospect for returning Pakistani students and develop linkages that are mutually beneficial.
This initiative will also help in promoting UK education after the recent change in students’ visa policy due to which post study work is no longer permitted in the UK.

- An exclusive opportunity to meet top employers from Pakistan to understand the market’s needs in order to stay abreast with the employment opportunities in Pakistan
- An opportunity for International offices to get better understanding of how to guide Pakistani students at their university and to tailor career counselling practices for local adaptation.
- An opportunity for International offices to improve employment prospects for their students which will help attract potential students in future

- An excellent way to raise awareness amongst your students about job and internship opportunities in Pakistan.
