OSTIM Technical University from Turkey is Looking for UK Universities for Partnerships

OSTIM Technical University, Turkey would like to obtain bilateral agreements with partner UK universities to establish transnational studentships or dual degree on undergraduate or masters’ degree programmes.

The university would like to obtain student exchanges as well as academic exchanges. So far OSTIM Technical University has signed a total of 52 Memorandum of Understanding agreements in a total of 29 countries.

OSTIM Technical University is of technical and Logistical background; they would be happy to exchange for our academics on entrepreneurship, IP, IT, AI, admiralty law, aircraft law, and maritime law as well as financial law.

With exchanges, OSTIM Technical University could be able to run joint projects with partner universities that are in sync with mutual priorities. OSTIM Technical University would like to express willingness to establish exchange programs for students with universities in the United Kingdom, such as transnational studentships or dual degrees.

More specifically, they would like to collaborate to achieve exchange of students; exchange of faculty (scholars); recognition of approved courses and credits, exchange of academic information and materials, organization of academic study programs; organization of joint research programs and organization of joint conferences, workshops and symposia.

Founded in 2017, OSTIM Technical University has the vision of becoming the “university of industry”. In strong cooperation with business, industry and society; the university of industry covers;

• Having the knowledge and equipment required by the competitive business world,
• Playing an active role to increase science and technology development competency of our country,

OSTIM Technical University was established in accordance with the Article of Law no.6005 in July 2017. OSTIM Technical University is located in Ankara.

According to the figures pertaining to the 2022 academic year, it has 3 faculties, and 2 institutes, with a total undergraduate enrolment of 5313. The total number of academic staff in the university is 179, of which 31 professors, 11 associate professors and 68 assistant professors: the rest are senior lecturers, lecturers, and research assistants.

OSTIM Technical University has 2 institutes for graduate studies, the Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences, and the Institute of Social Sciences.
