British Council Vietnam is going to launch the “UK in my eyes competition 2015” from 3 September to 3 October. The competition is open to all Vietnamese citizens who have had experience of studying and living in the UK. Participants are required to have a short writing, or make a video clip, to show their impression about the UK culture and education. The competition is promoted on Vnexpress.net, one of the most popular online newspapers in Vietnam and expecting to receive 300 entries with 300,000 visits to the competition platform. Winners of the competition will stand a chance to win a return ticket Vietnam – UK and other attractive prizes.

The competition will be a great opportunity for UK institutions to have your institutional profile raised through the stories of your Vietnamese students and alumni. Besides being promoted on the competition website, these stories will also be featured on the website of our PR programme “UK in my eyes” at http://ukinmyeyes.vn with 6,000 visits per month, and on the programme Facebook page with over 68,000 members. Therefore, we encourage UK institutions who have a good connection with your Vietnamese students and alumni to promote and share information about the competition to them. The official website for the competition is: http://vnexpress.net/tin-tuc/the-gioi/nuoc-anh-trong-mat-toi and the Facebook fanpage is: https://www.facebook.com/NuocAnhTrongMatToi
