Wallacea Week is a seven day’s event of public engagement with science to create conversations among scientists and member of the public for mutual learning and policy influencing. (TOR attached)
Using the momentum of Wallacea Week, we would like to offer UK University to deliver a seminar with specific relevant topics;
1. Biodiversity
2. Food, Nutrition and Human Genetics
3. Connectivity and Conservation
4. Cultural Diversity and Arts
5. Science and Society
The seminar will be held on 13-14 October 2018, in parallel with Wallacea Week exhibition.
We will be offering one-hour slot to UK institution to participate and deliver their session, with maximum 5 seminars for two days.
The cost for UK institution is GBP 400, that will include:
• 60 minutes seminar slot
• Digital campaign pre-event to British Council database
• Promotion via BC twitter and facebook
• Email promotion to schools, universities and agents
• Online registration via Eventbrite
Interested institutions can apply to Audrie at Audrie.Sanova@BritishCouncil.or.id with subject Seminar at Wallacea Week 2018 latest by 15 September 2018.
