Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (YUFE), an economic and management oriented leading university in Southwest China, is looking for a UK partner to establish a joint institution in the subject areas of business administration, applied economics and statistics in China.

Opportunity

YUFE is looking for UK partners to develop a joint institute (without legal entity) in economics and management, covering:

  • Joint 3+1 / 4+0 bachelor degree programmes
  • Joint 2+1 Master degree programmes
  • Joint 3+1+1 PhD programmes

Areas of responsibilities for the two collaborating parties:

UK partner

The UK partner will be expected to develop joint curricula for the courses, support the enrolled students in English leaning and professional courses, provide support in the quality assurance of the joint institute and participate in administrative management of the joint institute.

Yunnan University of Finance and Economics

YUFE will be responsible for gaining approval for the joint institute from the Ministry of Education, recruiting students for the programmes, providing qualified teaching staff as well as the required teaching premises and logistical support, and supporting the quality assurance of the joint institute.

About YUFE

Founded in 1951, YUFE is one of the key provincial universities in Yunnan Province. It is a multi-disciplinary university which excels in economics and management. The university’s facilities are among the best of the business-oriented universities in China.

YUFE hosts approximately 32,000 students. The teaching team of YUFE consists of over 1,500 faculty members including 1,055 full-time lecturers. It has established one overseas educational institute in Bangkok, Thailand, which is known as the third overseas educational institute established by Chinese universities and teaches six joint programmes.
