Recent changes in UK visa policies have affected recruitment of nursing students from the Philippines. It is an opportune time to aggressively promote programs and maintain presence in the market.
British Council Philippines is looking for interested institutions that wish to promote their nursing programmes directly to nursing graduates and professionals in the Philippines. The annual convention organised by the Philippine Nurses Association will be from 23 to 25 October 2012 at the Manila Hotel, Manila, Philippines. The organisers expect to have 1500 participants in attendance as this will be counted towards the nurses’ continuing professional development credits. < www.pna-org.ph >
Last year, two universities took a booth and were delighted with the turnout. Seven universities also sent in fliers to be included in each of the participant kits.
This year, British Council Philippines is presenting two ways to take advantage of this opportunity.
- Booth space – GBP 650 (Subject to availability)
- This will include 2 by 3 meter booth space with booth set-up (fascia boards), a table and two chairs
- This fee also includes a 1-page A5-sized, full colour advertisement space in the Nursing Studies in the UK: A Guide for Filipinos
- Advertising Space in the Nursing Studies in the UK: A Guide for Filipinos
These will be inserted in the participant kits of all the delegates to the Convention. Material will be provided by participating institution.
