Up until 2016, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) in Qatar used to run their popular Qatar International College and Universities Fair. This year the ministry has partnered with Informa Tharawat to organise this year’s edition of the fair.
In the last edition, there were 41 UK institutions exhibiting at this event. This year the opportunity is open to all UK education providers (i.e. Higher Education, Further Education and English courses providers). Institutions on the MoEHE’s lists will be clearly highlighted. Non-listed institutions will get to exhibit for the first time in Qatar and meet expatriate students who may not necessarily be interested in coming back to Qatar. More importantly, non-listed institutions will get to meet with the Ministry to try and get their university approved.
Participating institutions will get a 9sqm stand. A designated pavilion will be designed specifically for UK institutions when a minimum of 8 institutions participate. A market briefing will be delivered to UK institutions only by the British Council prior to the event to update you about market trends and updates. The British Council will also do some generic promotion.
The British Council has managed to get discounted participation fees for UK institutions of $3,500 plus VAT (Original participation fees are $4,500 plus VAT)
More details about the event can be found in the attached brochure.
