Background

In China, counsellors and teachers in international schools play an important role in guiding students through their overseas education decision-making process, including long-term and short-term courses. They are the front-line representatives for UK education, supporting the recruitment of quality Chinese students and they are closely in touch with market sentiments.

Following a successful visit organised by the British Council to the UCAS International Teachers’ and Advisers’ Conference in June 2019, one of the delegates is organising a trip to the UK to meet with UK higher education institutions and independent schools.

Ulink College Wuhan (ULC Wuhan), is a member of the Chinese private education group Ulink College, founded in 2004. ULC Wuhan offers Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level curricula to Chinese students aged 14 to 19 who aspire to study in universities abroad, with a current student size of 270. Many of the school’s graduates are successful in securing a place at top universities.
