The British Council in China is currently working with the China Association for Non-Government Education (www.canedu.org.cn) to organise an inward mission of private school presidents to the UK in late September 2015.
The delegation will comprise of 30-40 presidents or vice-presidents of top private schools from across China. The mission is looking to share best practice and ideas on the below topics:
- Science and Mathematics education in schools
- School management and leadership in schools
- Student-oriented teaching
- Student and teacher exchange opportunities
- Summer/winter programs or short term study options
- Joint/articulation programs or joint schools in China
- Leadership and teacher training programs in the UK
The delegation will also be looking to discuss partnership opportunities with UK schools.
The mission is looking to visit one senior secondary school, one junior secondary school and one primary school to learn more about UK school education and discuss partnership opportunities mentioned above (preferably near to London, Oxford or Cambridge).
