Would you like to be part of the British Council’s Education UK stand at the European Association of International Education Conference, which will take place in Prague between 16-19 September 2014? The stand will effectively act as the ‘UK Pavilion’, an umbrella stand for all UK nations and will give you the chance to profile your institution in a larger space for a reduced cost.

There are two different layout options which we could offer:

1) You could purchase one table and some chairs for the duration of the conference which would be labelled with your institution’s branding or, if you would not make use of a table for the duration of the conference, there would be an option to share a table with another institution, which would be co-branded.
2) We could offer a space with several tables which you could use to set up meetings. Each institution would be able to book a certain number of time slots for meetings and after this could use the stand as a ‘meet and greet’ point. We could have a banner on display and information available on all the institution represented and additionally, the British Council representative on the pavilion could act as a ‘receptionist’ for all institution and answer any enquiries from visitors to the space.

At this stage, this is just a call for ‘expressions of interest’ to gage what demand there is among UK institutions and the final layout and cost of the stand will very much depend on the response we get from you. We will put a wider call out to the sector next week but in the meantime please let us know if your institution would be interested in taking part in our UK Pavilion in Prague and if so, which of the above options you would prefer. We could also include a networking reception event at the Pavilion if this would be of interest to you so let us know your thoughts on this.
