The Ministry of Education recognized Okayama Joto Senior High School as one of the Super Global High Schools in Japan, which is a funding scheme to internationalise high school education. As Joto SHS already have a partnership alliance with a few high schools in Asia, they would like to expand it to Europe and arrange students’ visit to schools in the UK next year.

Joto SHS is looking for a potential partner. Their requirements are as follows:

• Date of visit: Mid-March 2015
• Number of students: Between 5 to 10
• Students’ age: Around 16 years olds
• School type: Independent School
• Area: London or its neighbourhood
• Interests: They would like to visit an independent school, join classes for similar age groups, show presentations on their school and culture. Their students would also like to discuss with British students of similar age on various issues. Ideally, they would like to stay in a school residence during their stay and deepen mutual understanding.
