Hong Kong’s education sector is already very competitive, and given the fluctuating nature of the local education system and that 11 per cent of the population is aged under 15, the city is likely to remain a strong market for international higher education and international secondary school education.
Using multiple sources including data from agencies, Education Intelligence’s primary data and the results of a British Council parent survey, examines the priorities and views of Hong Kong parents who are considering enrolling their children in UK-administered boarding schools and further education colleges. It also provides a good understanding of the Hong Kong environment, enabling UK schools and FE colleges to develop effective internationalisation strategies.
