Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST) is looking for UK partners interested in establishing a Ministry of Education approved transnational education joint program in the level of undergraduate or postgraduate, or an approved joint institute in both levels with details below:
Undergraduate:
- Format: 3+1 or 4+0 (program); 4+0 (institute)
- Recruitment: 30-60 per subject area each year
- Subject areas could cover

Postgraduate:
- Format: 3+0
- Recruitment: 30-60 per subject area each year

Responsibilities of the two partners
The UK partner will be expected to:
- Jointly develop the curricula for programs
- provide support in the joint program or institution’s application paperwork to the Chinese Ministry of Education
- provide support in the quality assurance of the programs, including hosting academic visits and training of NJUST faculty
- undertake the teaching of one third of the core modules of the programs
- ensure compliance with all necessary regulations of formally approved transnational education programs in China.NJUST will be responsible for:
Joint program or institution’s application paperwork to the Chinese Ministry of Education (with supporting documents from the UK partner)
- promoting and recruiting students for the joint program or institute
- operational, teaching and administrative costs of the joint program or institute
- NJUST is open to discussing the financial scheme and other partnership details with the UK partner directly.
