The NAFSA 2017 Annual Conference & Expo in Los Angeles, California May 28 – June 2 promises to be one of the largest international education events ever, with more than 9,000 international educators expected to attend from over 100 countries. Early Bird Registration closes on 14 April 2017 at 11:59am.

The British Council and partners are offering several free opportunities for UK institutions to engage at the conference, including-

•The Commercial Section of the U.S. Embassy in London will host a free informational webinar to help UK institutions make the most of their time in Los Angeles. Please mark your calendars and join us on Thursday 23rd March at 16:00 GMT. The webinar will include speakers from the US Embassy in London, NAFSA, the British Council USA and Sannam S4, a market entry and business support services company. •The British Council will host its’ annual NAFSA Market Briefing for UK institutions on Monday, 29 May from 8:30am-12:00pm. Reserve your spot at https://nafsabc2017.eventbrite.com. Limited spaces available.
•The British Council’s ‘Study UK: Discover You’ pavilion will be located at space 1861 in the Expo Hall and will promote UK education opportunities. The pavilion will feature an information desk, tables and chairs available to UK institutions for informal meetings (available on a first-come, first-served basis) and will debut the GREAT ‘Study UK: Discover You’ campaign with the US study abroad community.
•Join us for a Tea-at-Two networking event at the ‘Study UK: Discover You’ pavilion on Thursday, 1 June 2017. This is an opportunity for UK institutions to invite partners and contacts for a cup of tea and refreshments and to network at the booth. No RSVP required.
