The Ministry of Education (MED) of Peru through the Department of Basic Education (EBR) is looking for an institution specialised in English language training for the design and implementation of the five-hour English programme, full-day schooling of the secondary education model distributed in all regions of the country by 2015.

The specialised institution will plan, organise, implement, evaluate and report on the actions proposed in its programme, approved by the Department of Regular Basic Education, taking into account:

The service contract is organised into the following components:

  1. Pedagogical Proposal for Five Hours of English in 1000 IISS of the full day schooling in the secondary education model that considers the use of technology.
  2. Technical Proposal for English teacher support in IISS 1000 of the full day schooling in the secondary education model that considers the use of technology, language (online and onsite) and methodological training that leads to international certification.
  3. Technical proposal for the acquisition of educational materials kits for Five Hours of English in 1000 IISS of the full day schooling in the secondary education model.
  4. Technical proposal for the implementation of 1000 functional classrooms for full-day schooling in the secondary education model.

We have been made aware of an initiative for English language development in secondary schools in Peru through the Ministry of Education.
