A local Malaysian college based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking for articulation partners for their security related programmes. Prospective partners should currently be offering related undergraduate degree programmes which their graduating Diploma students can articulate into.
The college's Security Academy is currently offering two security related courses:
1) Diploma in Security Management
2) Diploma in Law Enforcement Management
Both courses are mainly undertaken by security personnel in both the public and private sectors, including police officers. A large majority of these students are interested to further their studies to the undergraduate level but options in-country are limited. The college is looking at articulation arrangements where graduating students are able to continue in the UK
The college is also open to franchise arrangements where students who cannot afford going overseas have the option of completing part of their programme in-country and spend a shorter duration in the UK as well as options to deliver dual degrees in the above subjects. However, this franchise arrangement are not their immediate priority.
The college was established in 1988 as a design college and has since diversified. In addition to design and security management courses, the college also offers Diplomas in Business Management and Human Resource Management. The college is registered with the Ministry of Education Malaysia and its programmes are all accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Authority (MQA). The college has also obtained an overall rating of 5 in the 2014/15 Malaysian Quality Evaluation System For Private Colleges (MyQuest).
Prospective UK institutions are invited to submit their expression of interest by emailing Jennifer Wan by 26 August 2016. We are also happy to have a chat with you should you have any questions pertaining the opportunity.
