Kuwait University is offering four scholarships to UK nationals for the September 2018 intake. The Language Centre and Arts & Science departments at Kuwait University are offering four fully funded scholarship awards for their Arabic language (2) course within its Arts department, one for an Arts degree and one for a Science degree programs.
Eligibility Entry requirements
UK nationals only. Candidate must have completed high school in the 24 months prior to intake date (i.e. graduation after 9 September 2016)
Application Package should include
- Minimum 6 IGs + 2 AS Levels or a 12th Grade certificate should be attested by the Kuwait Embassy in London. Should the applicant be based in Kuwait, the certificate needs to be attested by the General Administration for Private Education at the Ministry of Education. If selected, the original certificate has to be sent to British Council as part of application packet.
- Civil ID copy (if residing in Kuwait)
- Medical Report on an official letterhead of a local GP in his/her country
- Good Conduct Certificate i.e. a letter from a community member (eg: teacher) in his/her country verifying their good conduct
- Copy of Passport 4 personal Photos Candidate should fill in the scan of the application form available on website - British Council will fill in original form on their behalf
