The British Council is organising two face-to-face sessions of pre-departure briefings for students who are preparing to study in the UK. These briefings aim to provide practical guidance and essential information on various aspects of living and studying in the UK, including visa procedures, flight arrangements, banking services, and more.

The pre-departure briefings will be conducted on the following dates and venues:

Opportunity for UK institutions

The British Council is inviting five UK institutions in total to participate in the break-out session of these pre-departure briefings. To be eligible, the institutions must meet the following requirements:

1. UK representatives on-site: The chosen UK institutions must be willing to deliver their briefing at the designated venue

2. Minimum attendance guarantee: Each UK institution must ensure a minimum of 60 students/parents register and attend both the main and break-out sessions.

3. Student registration: students who wish to attend the briefings must register for the events. The British Council will facilitate the registration process.

Benefits for UK Institutions

Participating UK institutions will have the opportunity to showcase their expertise, offerings, and support services to prospective students. By directly engaging with students who have already decided to study in the UK, institutions can establish a strong foundation for building relationships and boosting enrollment numbers. Additionally, this is a free-of-charge opportunity provided by the British Council, allowing institutions to maximise their reach and impact without incurring any additional costs.

Limited Availability

This is a free-of-charge opportunity provided by the British Council. As there are only five slots available for the two briefing sessions, participation will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
