The landmark agreement on mutually recognised academic qualifications (MRQ) was signed between India and the UK on 21 July 2022. The British Council India along with Department of Education, Department of International Trade and UK ENIC (the UK National Information Centre for the recognition and evaluation of international qualifications and skills) are going to host a series of webinar on MRQ to unpack the scope and interpretation of the agreement in the coming days and the first one is scheduled on 22 August 2022. This is part of our collective endeavour to support the UK HE sector to tap the potential of this historic agreement and deepen the academic and research collaborations that exist between the two countries.
We call out to all interested HEI providers and practitioners who are keen to seek better understanding of the agreement, its implications in practical terms including what may be currently possible to send your queries and clarifications on any aspects of the agreement.
Your queries will be taken up at the webinar sessions with a view to widely share and provide clear and relevant advice. We would also be producing a FAQ document at the end of the webinar series based on all the questions received and will be made available under reports section of CARI.
Inviting questions on India-UK MRQ MoU and the agreement document is available here.
Deadline for questions: 15 October 2022
