British Council India is organising its annual pre-departure briefings for Indian students who have received offer letter/s from a UK institution and shall be leaving for the UK in August/ September 2018 to begin their course. These sessions will provide guidance and advice about important dos and don’ts while they prepare for student life in the UK. The briefing will also give students the opportunity to meet and network with fellow students who have enrolled to study at a UK institution.

The briefing will include an interactive session with recently returned UK alumni who will share their exciting experiences in the UK. There will be a session on ‘Tier 4 student visa applications and related procedures’ as well. The briefing will also have a session on student life in the UK which will provide information about UK culture, food, transportation in the UK, finances, accommodation options and more.

These sessions will be held at British Council offices in each city. Seats are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis against purchase of tickets at a nominal fee.
