We are organising a series of higher education dialogues. Through the Higher Education Dialogues, the British Council will connect sector specialists and higher education stakeholders and participants by encouraging focussed discussions between governments, businesses, and higher education institutions. We will explore shifting landscapes, ambitions and expectations in higher education and hear from a community of thought leaders and experts.

We are delighted to invite you to attend these Education Dialogues which brings together academic and policy experts to discuss and address market disruptions, challenges, and opportunities in the international and domestic higher education sectors in India. At our first event in the Dialogue series we will launch our research report on “Impact of financial resources on higher education choices in India” on 29 October at 10.30 am UK time and host a panel discussion on the same theme.  The research aimed to explore and understand the impact of household income and socio-economic background on higher education access and choice in India, and to provide a clearer picture of the financial profile of India’s domestic students in various kinds of Indian institutions.  We are hosting this session for a closed audience of academic leaders and policy makers from India and the UK.

I hope you will join us for this session as well as for future events.. Do feel free to share this with colleagues.
