Hong Kong Institute of Technology (HKIT) is one of the largest private sector Higher Education institutions in Hong Kong, with approximately 1,500 students. HKIT has a well-established TNE programme with one UK university, but is now looking for new partners.
HKIT is an institution where students benefitting from the Hong Kong government’s new subsidy scheme for self-funded students can study, which makes HKIT increasingly competitive in the Higher Education market.
HKIT is seeking new partners for the following:
1. Recognition of HKIT’s new International Diploma. This diploma will serve as an articulation pathway to undergraduate courses, and HKIT would like to ensure recognition from a number of UK universities.
2. Delivery of full and top-up undergraduate degrees in Hong Kong. For full degrees, this could also include an element of exchange or a full year of study in the UK. Subjects of interest are Business, Computer Science, Criminology / Policing, Engineering, or other subjects depending on the ranking of the partner UK university.
