FPT School of Business (FSB) is under FPT University and focuses on providing postgraduate programmes in business areas. FSB is looking for UK partners to develop and deliver a franchise programme in MBA.

The curriculum will be fully franchised by the UK university. Training programme will be partly covered by both UK partner's and FSB's lecturers:

  • UK lecturers to fly in to Vietnam
  • FBS lecturers approved by UK partner university

Percentage of lecture covered by each side will be discussed and agreed by the UK partner and FSB.

The franchise programme will be fully delivered in Vietnam. Upon successful completion of the programmes, students should receive a Master’s degree in MBA from the UK partner university.

This is an opportunity for the selected UK partner to establish a long-term partnership with FPT School of Business and FPT University, a private dynamic university. The MBA franchise programme will be implemented at FSB campuses in Hanoi and HCMC first, and then will be delivered in FSB campuses in Danang and Can Tho City at the next phase.   

Areas of responsibility for the two collaborating partners:

The selected UK partner will be expected to work with FPT School of Business to:

  • contribute to the curriculum design
  • provide teachers training to Vietnamese teachers (if necessary)
  • provide quality assurance for the programme
  • issue a  master’s degree to students who successfully complete the programme

FSB School of Business will be responsible for:

  • applying the business licence for the franchise programme from MOET
  • promoting and recruiting students for the programme
  • providing qualified teaching staff as well as the required teaching premises and logistical support for the franchise programme

Timeline

  • FPT School of Business to select partners by March 2018
  • Agreement to be finalised by April 2018
  • First intake of the franchised MBA programme to be launched in September 2018
