Would you like to be part of the British Council’s Study UK Pavillion at the The European Association of International Education (EAIE)? The conference is Europe’s largest university partnerships fair and this year’s event will be held in Barcelona from 15-18 September at Fira Barcelona Gran Via.

The British Council are once again hosting a British Council Study UK Pavilion promoting UK education and providing opportunities for HE and FE UK education providers to be represented under the Study UK campaign. The stand will effectively act as the ‘UK Pavilion’, an overarching stand for all UK nations, and will give you the chance to profile your institution in a larger space for a reduced cost. With 6,200 participants from 95 countries, the 31st Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition in 2019 was the largest event to date.

The feedback for the 2019 Pavillion was 100% positive, expressing the stand was excellent and highly visual. We will demonstrate clearly the uniqueness, strength and variety of the UK higher education offer. We will be offering two options:

  1. Your own space for the duration of the conference, which would be labelled with your institution’s branding and would be for your use only.
  2. A shared space with another institution, which would be co-branded and used by both institutions (the onus would be on both parties to liaise about timings in advance).

In addition, the British Council representatives on the stand will be able to direct visitors to institutions and respond to any queries/pass on messages. Depending on your interest we may include a networking event.

Working closely with other UK representative organisations for Wales, Scotland, London and Northern Ireland we will coordinate an exhibition space which represents a cohesive higher education offer from the UK.

PARTICIPATION FEE INCLUDES:

• Meeting space
• Assistance of British Council ‘Receptionist’
• Inclusion in the Study UK pavilion brochure

2019 stand price: £2,500 for full stand and £1,250 for a shared stand. (Please expect a small price increase of 5-10% as a guide)

At this stage, this is a call for ‘expressions of interest’ to gauge the level of demand among UK institutions. Please let Claire Farnsworth know by 28 January 2020 if your institution would be interested in taking part in our UK Pavilion in Barcelona. We could also include a networking reception event at the Pavilion if this would be of interest, so let us know your thoughts.
