We invite UK higher education institutions to propose subject experts and speakers for our 2023-24 GREAT Talks series in India.
GREAT Talks take place in cities across India and give UK professionals from diverse areas of expertise the opportunity to engage with local experts, academics, professionals and students.
Participating UK higher education institutions get the chance to connect with and build the UK’s brand and network among large audiences in India, and to inspire young minds in relation to the UK’s world class education, research and innovation.

Proposed dates and themes
This series of GREAT Talks will be face-to-face and based on the themes below. Specific dates will be agreed during the months shown.

How to apply
Interested UK institutions should complete this form by 16 June 2023.
Institutions can suggest speakers for a maximum of two themes.
- We will select speakers based on their proven track record of delivering engaging sessions across a wide range of audiences (students, academics, public). Our decision will be final.
- We expect speakers to consent to being recorded for dissemination purposes.
- Costs towards local hospitality in India and international and domestic airfare (economy class), local transport and accommodation will be arranged and paid by the British Council.
